We took over The Heathcote in March 2017 restoring the original name after a hiatus as 'The Bear in The Spa'.

The heart of the Whitnash community
The Heathcote enjoys strong support from the local community, both as a premium drinks destination as well as leading the local pub dining market. We serve food all day, every day, with an extremely popular carvery on Sundays and a broad, accessible menu throughout the week.

A story of professional growth
The original General Manager, Andy, joined Roseacre to open The Heathcote in 2017, progressing into a dual site role to mentor and manage teams in both Leamington Spa and Northampton.
In Spring 2021, Andy was promoted to Head of Systems & Marketing in Head Office, paving the way for a 6 month GM development role for one of our Assistant Managers from Leicester. Our Head Chef, Emily, has also progressed through the ranks at a sister-site, The Waterside in Mountsorrel, before taking her first Kitchen Management role at The Heathcote.
In late 2021, we head-hunted James, an energetic and passionate leader who had previously worked with us at The Lime Tree in Leicester.
James and Emily have invested in the success and local love that The Heathcote continues to enjoy.
