Originally built in 1795, we took over The Waterside in 2017 after being blown away by it's stunning location along the river. 

Popular with boating and walking groups who stay for a bite to eat and a drink by the river, adored by families who make use of the giant garden and bouncy castles and also hosts family fun days and music festivals supporting the local community, serving premium drinks and food all day everyday.

The Waterside's General Manager is Dan. Dan started off as an Assistant Manager at The Lime Tree, then ventured off to The Waterside for the first time to broaden his skills and knowledge at another Roseacre site. He used those skills to open up one of our newest sites, The Axe & Square as General Manager and was responsible for recruitment, training and the operation of opening up a new site. Following his successful execution of this he 'went home' to The Waterside to continue in his role as General Manager, using his skills to run a completely different type of site, whilst using his skills and knowledge gained from working at other sites.

 Kelsey is the Head Chef, she is not only the Head Chef, she is the back bone of The Waterside, with her personal approach to mentoring and coaching, she has a team of dedicated and talented chefs, including Abbie, who started off as Front of House, crossed trained to work in the kitchen as a part time Commis Chef and has now worked her way up through the ranks and implemented external training to a Senior Chef position.
